Errata: Isis wishes to correct a mistake introduced during the editing of Antonino Poppi's review of Heinrich C. Kuhn, Venetischer Aristotelismus im Ende der aristotelischen Welt (Isis, 1997, 89:538-539). In the final paragraph of the review, Poppi's Cremonini, Galilei e gli inquisitori del Santo a Padova (1993) should have been cited rather than Poppi's Scienza e filosofia all'Università di Padova nel Quattrocento (1983). We regret the error.

Isis would also like to correct a citation in Cong Cao's article "The Changing Dynamic between Science and Politics" (Isis, 1999, 90:298-324). In footnote 6, on page 300, the citation of the article "Botany in Republican China" should read "William J. Haas, "Botany in Republican China: The Leading Role of Taxonomy," in Science and Medicine in Twentieth-Century China: Research and Education, ed. John Z. Bowers, William Hess, and Nathan Sivin (Ann Arbor: Center for Chinese Studies, Univ. Michigan, 1988), pp. 31-64. We also regret this error.
